Super Mario Party Jamboree Features More Minigames Than Ever Before

Mario Partytitlesare best known for their minigame selection, which ranges from cooperative puzzles to gruelingly competitive survival contests. Over the years, each subsequentMario Partytitle has sought to feature more minigames than the last, with the most recent entry,Super Mario Party, boasting 84. However, the series’ next title is about to blow that number out of the water. In its reveal trailer,Super Mario Party Jamboreerevealed that it includes over 110 unique minigames.

AcrossSuper Mario Party Jamboree’s seven different levels, players will compete in a handful of minigames from the largest minigame pool inMario Partyhistory. While few were on display during the title’s announcement trailer, the minigames shown were fun, flashy, and fiercely competitive. Mario and his friends were shown running from Bowser, rearranging art, flying hot air balloons, robot arm wrestling, and more. What’s more,Super Mario Party Jamboreerevealed a new mode, which will see more players participating in minigames than ever before.

Super Mario Party Jamboree New Mode Features 20-Player Minigames

Near the end of its first trailer,Super Mario Party Jamboreerevealed a brand-newBattle Royalemode called Koopathon. The new mode will see 20 online players compete in a variety of massive game boards and 20-player minigames. After each turn, players' ranks will be updated, with all 20 players battling it out for the top spot by the time the final turn concludes. It remains to be seen how many ofSuper Mario Party Jamboree’s minigames will be featured in Koopathon, but those shown offered plenty of reasons for fans to give the mode a try.

Super Mario Party Jamboreerevealed that the title will feature over 110 minigames, but there’s no telling what the true total will be. Some previous entries sawnew minigames unlocked through play, so the number given could suggest the number available at launch.
