Due to the massive popularity ofCall of Duty: Warzone,the developers and publisher of the shooter franchise hope to keep it going through on-going support. WithCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold Warset to launch on November 13, fans' attentions are likely focused on how it will integrate with the battle royaleWarzone.

While there have been several discussions overWarzone’sintegration withBlack Ops Cold War, the developer seems to be planning something larger.Call of Duty: Modern Warfareappears to be receiving additional support as all three titles learn to operate in conjunction with one another. From player progression to access for in-game armories,Call of Duty: Warzonewill act as a binding agent for the communities of all three titles. There will be a period of adjustment, changes, and reworking as new features are added, but the entire concept is fairly innovative on Activision’s part.
Player progression is expected to be linear throughout all three titles. The battle pass will be synchronized across all games. Items can be unlocked for use inCall of Duty: WarzoneandCall of Duty:Black Ops Cold Warbut notModern Warfare.While battle pass progression will still be available, all unlocked items are restricted to only the new game. Still, there is sure to be tons of newcontent available for fans to experience inCall of Duty: Warzonefor free.
Players will be able toplayCall of Dutyacross platforms and across titleson one invite network. Players wanting to invite their friends fromCall of Duty: Black Ops Cold WarintoModern Warfarecan do so without switching titles by simply navigating into the next game. All three development teams are working towards keeping content accessible with no plans for any major changes ofCall of Duty: Warzoneor removal of fan-favorite content.
