There are still eight months untilThe Marvelsarrives in theaters, but fans may have gotten their first look at the trio from the upcoming film. A photo that is doing the rounds on social media features Brie Larson’s Captain Marvel, Iman Vellani’s Ms. Marvel, and Teyonah Parris' Monica Rambeau. Based on the image of the merchandise, it seems like some of these heroes will be getting new costumes.

The Marvelswas initially planned to be a direct sequel to 2019’sCaptain Marvel. However, plans for the film changed and Marvel Studios decided to create a crossover of sorts by bringing the three heroes into a single project together.Larson’s Carol Danversand Vellani’s Kamala Khan already had an interaction of sorts towards the end ofMs. Marvel, but Parris’ Rambeau will also seemingly join forces with them to formThe Marvels. While fans await more updates about the film and its potential plot line, the image of a piece of merchandise has shed some light on what the three will look like in the upcoming film.

The image of the pillow, which was first shared by Instagram user@umportalgeek, features a close look at the three heroes and what they will be wearing as their superhero avatars. The image is not a still fromThe Marvelsbut instead seems like a composite of promotional images.Vellani’s Ms. Marvel costumelooks slightly different from the one she donned in the Disney Plus series, with more padding and armor seemingly incorporated into the suit. The Captain Marvel suit also seems to have been modified ever so slightly, with more red hues added in. However, it is Rambeau’s suit that is a whole new version and exciting for fans to see before the film’s promotions have even begun.

Rambeau was last seen inWandaVision, where fans saw how she obtained her powers by going through the hex multiple times and absorbing the energy field. The character has had several aliases in Marvel Comics, including Photon and Spectrum. When she appeared in theWandaVisionfinale, she wore a costume that was similar to the one worn by Photon in the comics. However, inThe Marvels, it seems like her costume will be more comic-book-accurate. The costume incorporates more black hues, with the character’s logo visible on the chest.

Not much isknown aboutThe Marvelsat the moment, apart from the fact that the three heroes will be sharing screen space. When the film was first confirmed, the studio had teased that fans should “prepare to experience [the film] and fly higher, further, and faster.” It remains to be seen whether the three heroes will work together or if there will instead be a potential showdown between the characters.

The Marvelsis scheduled for a theatrical release on June 20, 2025.
