Recently, live service games, games that receive updates within a set schedule across various “seasons,” have become a major draw for developers, includingUbisoft. At E3,Ubisoftannounced the ever-growing catalog of its live service games, confirming the longevity of fan-favorite titles for many months and possibly years to come.
Part of the draw for Ubisoft’s live games includes multiplayer elements, allowing players to engage with others and form a player base. The titles featured are games with dedicated, established communities, which brings good news to players who have invested many hours of progress.

The titles that Ubisoft announced will receive support range from its newer titles to older ones, with each title receiving a major update for players to enjoy soon. Some of the added content players can look forward to are additionalTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtlescontent forBrawhalla,Royal Mode forTrackmania 2020,a new season for bothThe Crew 2andFor Honor, andthe return of Aiden inWatch Dogs Legion.
The Crew 2will begin its 3rd season on July 7th, focusing on a cross country event that will take the player across the East Coast. Additionally, to celebrate its third anniversary, Ubisoft will be giving away an exclusive Corvette to players for the price of 1 credit.For Honorwill also begin its new season, titledMirage, in which players will fight in an arid scorched Heathmoor with a new hero teased for a July 22nd release.
A crossover with theTeenage Mutant Ninja TurtlesandBrawhallawill go live on June 16th alongside a “Royal Mode” forTrackmania 2020available now. Royal Mode is an obstacle course-based game mode with daily tracks offering new hazards and roadblocks for players to navigate through to the end. Thepremise of Royal Mode is similar toFall Guysin that players can be at risk of elimination at any time by failing at being aware of their surroundings.
What may be the biggest surprise forWatch Dogs Legionfans is the inclusion of memorable characters within theseries universe, including the inclusion of Aiden from the originalWatch Dogsand Wrench fromWatch Dogs2. They will be included in the expansion,Watch Dogs Legion: Bloodline, promising a serious story in contrast toLegion’slight-hearted premise.
With news for each title including season and event start-times, rewards, and other incentives for veteran players to continue playing and beginner players to catch up to the rest of the player base, Ubisoft aims to focus onnewer upcoming titles likeRainbox Six Extractionwhile also continuing support for its existing live service games.
