Aside from general discussions about Unreal Engine and a tidbit on its early content creation pipeline at the end, theconsole-exclusive UE5 demoThe Matrix Awakenswill be the star of the show. The first presentation will talk aboutAwakens' procedural content production and open-world workflows, while the second will discuss procedural cityscape generation and technical challenges that arose from this undertaking.

The list ofgames confirmed to be using Unreal Engine 5is already rather hefty, and includes eagerly awaited titles such asBlack Myth: Wukong,ArcheAge 2,Redfall, and, of course,Fortnite. The lessons learned during the production ofThe Matrix Awakensare sure to be applied to at least some upcoming UE5 projects, and the technology has the potential to change game development at large.
