There are a variety of different biomes inValheim’s sandbox world that players have to get accustomed to while working their way through the game. Each has its own aesthetic and unique benefits and players have spent the time since the release of the game making creations to fit each biome. OneValheimplayer recently did just that by bringing Doctor Strange’s Sanctum Sanctorum to the game’s Swamp biome.
Valheimis a survival and sandbox game that was released in February 2021. Players are dropped into a massive open world split into several biomes. This clip comes from u/Grrvvpp23, and they show off a build that Marvel fans should recognize right away. InValheim’s challenging and eerie swamp biome, this player has created their own version of Doctor Strange’s Sanctum Sanctorum. U/Grrvvpp23 starts the video in free camera and shows off this brilliant reconstruction in its entirety and the design matches the look of this structure inDoctor Strange: The Sorcerer Supremefilm quite well. They shift to the traditional view in the game and walk around the creepy grounds of this building. There is a giant skull resting on the ground outside and the interior is impressively decorated with a mix of stone, wood, and glass. There are numerous displays as well as intricate iron works within the building.
Valheimplayers familiar with its building systemwill likely realize quickly that this build is not possible in the vanilla version of the game. Those looking to match this look have to download the modes Valheim+, Odin’s Architect, Clutter, PlantIt!, Gizmo Reloaded, and Better Creative. These help make possible additions such as the giant skull which can traditionally only be found in the Mistlands ofValheim.
Mods can takeValheim’s building mechanicto new heights by allowing players much more placing freedom and more structures to create. While the vanilla system has seen updates since the game’s early access release, mods greatly improve the capabilities of the latest version of the original system.
Then again, mods aren’t for every player, especially those who took toValheimfor its survival mechanicsand resource-gathering challenges. Either way, this player has brought one of the creepier designs for Dr. Strange’s Sanctum Sanctorum in the perfect place.
Valheimis available now for PC and will come to Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S in Spring 2023.
