8Sony/Playstation

WhileSonyhas created their own crossover party fighter before inPlaystation All-stars Battle Royal, it’s safe to say the company’s characters deserve another chance to square off with one another. This would also be a great opportunity to include characters that weren’t inPlaystation All-stars Battle RoyallikeSpyro,Crash, andJoel/Ellie.

WhilePlaystation All-stars Battle Royalwasa lot of fun for many, somePlaystationfans thought the game was a bit too similar toNintendo’sSuper Smash Brothersseries. Getting aPlaystationcrossover game done in the style of a traditional 2D or 3D fighter would likely be more appealing to those fans.

1Square Enix

Square Enixcould pullcharacters from franchiseslikeBravely Default,Chrono Trigger/Chrono Cross, Final Fantasy, Dragon Quest, and any of the non-DisneyKingdom Heartscharacters.Square Enix’s crossover fighter could take influence from multiple different fighters.

It could be a 3D fighter in the style ofSoulCalibur, after all, most of the characters from their JRPGs use a weapon of some kind. It would also be interesting to see many of their older 2D characters reimagined in 3d. Alternatively, the game could take inspiration fromMarvel vs. Capcom’s 3v3 tag system in a 2D fighter. Either way, fans would enjoy seeing all these characters and their unique mechanics, duking it out with one another.
