A 2K representative revealed the reason why Scarlett is not on theWWE 2K23roster despite her husband, Karrion Kross, being featured as an active wrestler. Karrion Kross is just one of 178 wrestlers featured inWWE 2K23, and fans who preorder the game or purchase the Icon Edition receive even more wrestlers to play as.
WWE 2K23celebrates John Cena’s prolific careeras a WWE superstar on the main roster. The game’s Showcase Mode allows players to relive iconic matches against John Cena as some of his greatest rivals including Rob Van Dam, Edge, and The Rock. Wrestling fans may also enjoy modes featuring current WWE superstars like Karrion Kross, Ricochet, Braun Strowman, Bobby Lashley, and Drew McIntyre. Pre-orders of theWWE 2K23Icon Edition include additional superstars like “Prototype” John Cena and Bad Bunny. However, managerial superstars like Scarlett do not appear to be on theWWE 2K23roster, leading fans to question whether she will be featured in the game or not.

Wrestling news outlet WrestleZone reached out to 2K about Scarlett inWWE 2K23, revealing that she’s still in the game as a manager. Scarlett was removed from theWWE 2K23roster listsince managers are not considered to be active competitors in the ring. Fortunately, she will still be available as a manager for Karrion Kross inWWE 2K23. “Scarlett will be available inWWE 2K23as a manager – managers are not featured on the roster which is why she is not on the list,” 2K said.
Scarlett accompanies Karrion Kross to the ring on WWE SmackDown while the entrance theme “Dead Silent” plays. She plays an important role for the on-screen character of Karrion Kross on WWE programming. WWE fans may recreate Karrion Kross and Scarlett’s memorable entrance inWWE 2K23against nearly 200 other superstars thanks to the Icon Edition and Season Pass.
Karrion Kross benefits greatly from Scarlett’s presence in WWE and the same may be said forWWE 2K23. Many fans prefer to see Karrion Kross with Scarlett while performing as a WWE superstar, so heromission fromWWE 2K23would have been a big mistake by 2K.
Fans will soon be able to manage and play as the most popularWWE superstars and legends inWWE 2K23. The game’s returning MyGM mode allows players to recruit and oversee superstars like Karrion Kross and Roman Reigns on RAW and SmackDown in a head-to-head ratings battle.
WWE 2K23launches March 17 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
