TheWWE 2K24roster already featured an impressive selection, but fans who pre-ordered snagged popular names like Stardust and Superstar Billy Graham, while variations of characters, such as Rhea Ripley ‘20, Bianca Belair ‘17, and Charlotte Flair ‘17 are available in either the Deluxe Edition or 40 Years of WrestleMania Edition ofWWE 2K24. As for the Standard Edition, many alternate characters are currently unattainable, but developer Visual Concepts and publisher 2K may consider unlocking the exclusive variants for everyone in the future.
The officialTwitteraccount forWWE 2K24made the Post Malone & Friends announcement, complete with a first look at the singer’s model. The DLC includes Post Malone alongside former wrestlers Headbanger Mosh, Headbanger Thrasher, Honky Tonk Man and Sensational Sherri. It will also add cards in MyFaction mode for these new additions while also saving a spot for Jimmy Hart to join as a manager. The Post Malone & Friends Pack is the second of five DLC packs planned forWWE 2K24,the first being May’s ECW Punk Pack, which saw CM Punk, Bubba Ray Dudley, D-Von Dudley, Sandman and Terry Funk added to the mix.
More DLC Packs Coming To WWE 2K24 In The Coming Months
The Pat McAfee Pack is the next DLC to be released on July 24. It will include commentator Pat McAfee and the four co-hosts of thePat McAfee Show:AJ Hawk, Boston Connor, Darius Butler, and Ty Schmitt. The Global Superstars Pack will follow on September 20, featuring Carlito, Dragon Lee, Jade Cargill, Kairi Sane, Lyra Valkyria, Michelle McCool, and Nia Jax. Finally,the WCW Pack will round out the DLC catalogon November 13, including Diamond Dallas Page, Lex Luger, Mr Perfect, the Great Muta, and the Iron Sheik.
WWE 2K24’s recent Patch 1.09 added the Wrestlemania 40 arena, exclusive to players who purchased the 40 Years of WrestleMania Edition of the game. Previous patches focused on stability fixes and minor bug improvements, but fans are looking ahead toWWE 2K25in anticipation of numerous rumors surrounding changes to the formula, particularly talks of new titles to balance out the women’s divisions.
